Clippers vs. Blazers. This one's a battle for play-in positioning, plain and simple.
The key matchup? Kawhi Leonard against the Blazers' entire perimeter defense. Leonard’s been on a tear, averaging 29.8 points over his last five games, shooting 55% from the field. Thing is, Portland’s been scrappy, winning five of their last seven, even without Anfernee Simons for some of those. Damian Lillard is still dropping 30+ a night, but the Clippers have enough length to bother him, especially with Paul George back in rhythm, who put up 29 points against Utah last week.
Here’s the thing: the Clippers are desperate, and they’re healthier than they’ve been all year. They’ll pull away late. Clippers win 118-110.
