The Lakers are rolling, winners of eight of their last ten, while the Nets have just two victories in their last ten outings. LeBron James is still playing at an MVP level, dropping 40 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists against the Pelicans a few nights ago. Brooklyn, on the other hand, barely cracked 90 points in their last loss to the Spurs, a truly anemic offensive effort.
The real matchup to watch here is how Anthony Davis handles Nic Claxton, though that's probably being generous to Claxton. Davis has been a monster inside, averaging 24.7 points and 12.7 rebounds this season, and the Nets simply don't have an answer for him. Expect a big night from him on both ends.
Lakers win easily, 125-102.
